Albert Einstein. What more needs to be said? Not much if you ask me. So without further ado, let’s explore some of Albert’s most inspirational words.
1. “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”
If you have a mindset that is out of the ordinary, you will receive a lot of resistance from the mediocre. The average will try to get you off the road to success. It doesn’t matter what you are doing. When you make a decision to escape mediocrity and reach for something much greater, the average will not like this…at all.
Your success will be a threat to them and in return bring out their insecurities. As a result, you are bound to receive friction from the mediocre.
The key is to be prepared. A lot of people think that everyone is going to support their endeavors, however this is rarely the case. Instead when these people are met with opposition, they get frightened and soon grow weary.
In my opinion, this is one of the great tests those that want to escape mediocrity have to face.
If you want your life to be anything but average, you first have to take on and beat the average. The way you go about accomplishing this is by not letting their words get you down. Don’t let what they have to say get in between you and your dreams.
If you can keep your unique mindset intact and uninfluenced by the masses, you will blossom.
This world fears change. They fear anything that is out of the ordinary. As a result, you will be out of the ordinary when you aim to do something that the average view to be impossible. Hence, their job is to get you to quit.
Don’t let them break you.
2. “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.”
Opportunities don’t come gift wrapped. Instead they come in the middle of the storm. However, people are usually so traumatized that they don’t see the opportunity that lies right in front of them.
Whether it be starting businesses in the recession or finding the courage to change professions when you have hit rock bottom, opportunities are always present. You just have to keep your eyes open.
Never turn your brain off.
Be open minded and question everything.
By questioning everything you’ll build up the ability to spot and exploit opportunities.
When things aren’t going right, that is when you need to wake up and begin to see things for what they really are because you are bound to find opportunities as a result.
3. “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
By developing a deep and enriched love for life, you will increase your odds of succeeding.
Every day you need to wake up and be thankful for being able to live in such a prosperous time.
You have to wake up excited and energetic. Have faith in the world.
Life is amazing. Life is one of the greatest if not greatest creations. Cherish it. Embrace life.
Live with passion. Let your energy and your spirit be infectious.
4. “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”
Everyone sees the world in a different light. As a result, perception is reality.
Two people can be looking at the same thing, however they will perceive the exact same thing in different ways and hence as a result their reality will differ.
For instance, say both parties have two kids. One party might take this as if this means that they have to let their dreams die because now they have to devote their full attention to their children. On the other hand, the other party might see the same situation in a different way. They might see the children to be a powerful blessing because the kids will now serve as an intense level of motivation in order to make ones dreams come true not only for oneself, but for the kids as well.
As a result, both parties will take different actions.
Reality is just an illusion. When you realize this, you can influence your life in whichever way you please.
You have to realize that you are the one who is control of the perceptions you make. Hence, perceive accordingly to the reality you want to create.
You control everything.
5. “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”
Be curious…about everything. By doing so, you’ll find yourself not only finding new opportunities, but your open mind will be sharp as ever and in return will really aid you in every endeavor you undertake.
Curiosity is something the average person let’s die once they reach adulthood.
Remember when you were a child, you were curious about EVERYTHING.
This is the mentality you need to find within yourself once again.
Be curios. By being curious you’ll open up endless amounts of doors and will truly live one hell of a life.
Become a critical thinker.
If you are just going along with the herd and refuse to think and question something, you are equivalent in many ways to someone who is dead.
A lot of the successful entrepreneurs you see today were and still remain curious as hell.
Their curiously led them to ideas that are now worth millions if not billions of dollars.
Don’t close the door to your mind instead open it and embrace the world.
6. “Your imagination is your preview to life’s coming attractions.”
In my opinion and in the opinion of most, imagination is way more powerful than education.
Use your imagination to attract what it is you desire.
Construct a vision of what you want your life to be like and replay this short clip in your mind on a daily basis.
We humans tend to not use our imagination to its full ability. Again like with curiosity, we tend to ignore our imagination as we grow older, but the true genius holds onto their imagination with a tight grip because like Albert said, it is our preview to life’s coming attractions.
7. “One cannot alter a condition with the same mindset that created it in the first place.”
The quote above is very powerful.
In order to make a change in your life, you first have to change your mindset. If you don’t change your thinking, you are destined to remain in the same position. If you truly think about it, you’ll understand why.
As a result, when things aren’t working for you or when you want a change, you need to alter your mentality.
The fool thinks the same way and does the same thing and expects a different result.
Whereas the genius takes time to change his/her thinking which contributes to different actions which in return translates into the results that he/she desires.
