I’m a huge fan of the great ones, the ones that transform the world and put the status quo to shame.

As a result, I was a huge supporter of Steve Jobs because he did just that, he was a prime example of someone who put a ding in the universe.

Simply put, he embodied greatness and wouldn’t settle for anything less.

His spirit was almost magical and as a result it always piqued my curiosity.

More specifically, I was always interested in what made him so damn remarkable. Therefore I decided to read his biographical book titled Steve Jobsby Walter Isaacson and upon doing so I believe I now understand what led to his ability to achieve the improbable.

I share with you my takeaways below.

(It’s vital you study the greats so you too can become great, therefore apply the lessons you learn below to your own life).

1. Expected greatness from himself and from everyone around him.

“The goal was never to beat the competition, or to make a lot of money. It was to do the greatest thing possible, or even a little greater.” – Steve Jobs

Steve ate, slept, and dreamt greatness.

He wouldn’t tolerate anything less than excellence.

You too need to apply this rule to your life.

No matter what you do, do it to your utmost ability.

There are too many people who go through life giving half ass efforts, these folks never get anywhere.

If you’re going to attempt something, DO IT. Actually do it. Be consumed and obsessed with it.

If it isn’t great, it isn’t worthy.

After all, if you’re going to make things in your life, you might as well make them extraordinary.

2. Ruthless.

He was brutally honest. He would tell it like it was, he didn’t hold back.

His words were like daggers, they would cut deep. However, it was because of this honesty that people learned to respect and love him.

This honesty led to great creations and a great team.

Simply put, Steve would not tolerate B or C players whatsoever.

If you weren’t an A player, you were gone.

He simply characterized his team with the best of the best.

This lesson is huge because you too need to surround yourself with the best. Stop tolerating mediocre friends. The people around you shape and mold you. Surround yourself with the very best.

In addition, speak your mind.

Say what you feel.

Step on a few toes.

Don’t be a pussy.

Cowards don’t succeed.

3. Controlled reality, didn’t let reality control him.

“Steve could convince anyone of practically anything.” – Apple’s manager of software engineering

Not only did Steve set unrealistic deadlines, but he actually got his team to meet these deadlines.

He controlled reality.

Steve was known for his reality distortion field, he could bend the reality before him into what he desired.

You too need to bend reality. When you are chasing your dreams, your reality is not going to be what you desire it to be. Therefore, you need to learn to see the light in the darkest of tunnels. Think positive and believe in your ability.

You can do anything you put your mind to.

We humans are powerful machines, once we put our mind to something and devote all our resources to it, we can and we do come out superior.

Therefore, set yourself unrealistic goals and give yourself an unrealistic deadline, you’ll be surprised at what you can accomplish.

4. Aggressive.

Steve would not rest until he possessed what he desired.

He would push through obstacle after obstacle.

It didn’t matter what was in his way, he would overcome and he would prevail.

Failure was simply not an option.

You too need to adopt this mentality, take it to the world. You are a king/queen, you got greatness within you, be aggressive and let your uniqueness blossom.

5. Ignored what others thought.

Steve did not give a single fuck about what others thought of him.

He was stubborn with his beliefs and the way he saw the world, he simply didn’t care about what anyone else thought.

The only thing that mattered was what he believed.

He realized early that others opinion does not make or break you. What others think of you is truly irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Think about it…

When you are on your death bed, are you going to be concerned about what others thought of you?

I bet not.

Hence act in accordance with what you want and screw what everyone else thinks.

6. Perfectionist.

Steve cared about every single detail.

He would worry and perfect every single part, even the ones that the consumer would not see.

Steve drove himself crazy.

Mediocre minds cannot understand this level of obsession; however it was this obsession that led to the brilliance that is APPLE.

Mediocre people never become great because they don’t deliver perfection. Therefore if you want to make the transition from average to legendary, deliver perfection and deliver perfection every single day.

Consistency is key.

7. Childlike.

Curious, fueled by emotions, and driven by passion. That was Steve Jobs in a nutshell and those in return were the traits that took him from being yet another hippie to a worldwide sensation.

Those are the secrets to Steve’s success.

Your job now is to take and apply.

Apply these lessons to your own life and keep travelling down the road to success.

Have faith and carry on.

You’ll eventually reach the finish line and when you do, someone will write an article about the secrets to YOUR success.

1. Discover what you want from life and do everything in your power to make it happen.

“I want to put a ding in the universe.”

2. Perseverance is required to succeed. Can you make it through the tough, dark days when nothing is going your way? It’s a must you keep your head on straight and keep at it. You have to see the bad before the good. In order words, you reach heaven by going through hell.

“I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.”

3. You are waiting to die. Every day is a step closer to your demise. Stop worrying and start living.

“Almost everything–all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure–these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

4. Take pride in your uniqueness. Use your differences to your advantage. You have to be a tad bit crazy if you want to achieve massive success in life. If you want to go down as one of the greatest, you have to be crazy. Never let anyone belittle your dreams, it’s people like you that go on to succeed, the crazy ones that think they can. People like you are the ones who transform the world, people who have the balls to chase big dreams in spite of big obstacles. Hence don’t give up, when you feel like calling it quits, remember one thing…this world needs you.

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

5. Your time is limited.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

6. The best opportunities come in the darkest of storms.

“I didn’t see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.”

7. Never settle for yesterday’s success. Yesterday is over and done with. Spend time on the present. The average focus on what they did yesterday, the great focus on what they are doing today.

“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”

8. Focus on meaningful things. Don’t fool yourself into thinking you are doing something when you really aren’t.

“Do you want to spend the rest of your life selling sugared water or do you want a chance to change the world?”

9. Characterize your life with excellence. It doesn’t matter what you do, focus on being the best at it. Stop giving half ass efforts, if you’re going to do it, put your soul into it. Your work should be an extension of you. Leave everything on the table.

“We don’t get a chance to do that many things, and everyone should be really excellent. Because this is our life.”

1. I’m hungry for knowledge. The whole thing is to learn every day, to get brighter and brighter. That’s what this world is about. You look at someone like Gandhi, and he glowed. Martin Luther King glowed. Muhammad Ali glows. I think that’s from being bright all the time, and trying to be brighter.

Progression is the key to a rich, eventful and an extraordinary life.

Every day you should be moving forward.

The day you stop moving forward is the same day you start awaiting deaths arrival.

Learn. Apply. Grow.

2. I’ve never looked at myself and said that I need to be a certain way to be around a certain sort of people. I’ve always wanted to stay true to myself, and I’ve managed to do that. People have to accept that.

Never conform who you are for anyone.

It doesn’t matter if you’re kicking it with your childhood friends or the president of the United States, be you.

I mean, at times you may have to change your attitude, but never change the real you.

The world is filled with fakes and phonies, people wear one mask one day and another the next. Don’t be this person. You need to have values and you need to stick to those values,  no matter what.

3. I’m far from being god, but I work god damn hard.

Work hard.

Nothing will ever happen for you until you put paper to pen.

I know it seems tough because the future is uncertain and you don’t know if your hard work is going to pay off, but you need to have faith.

Keep your head on straight and leave everything on the court, leave everything on the stage, leave everything in the office.

If you do, the results will come.

4. The burden of poverty isn’t just that you don’t always have the things you need, it’s the feeling of being embarrassed every day of your life, and you’d do anything to lift that burden.

Use poverty as motivation.

Being broke is the greatest motivator; it should motivate you to change your life.

The greatest threat is a person who has nothing to lose, the person who goes on to succeed is the person who has his/her back up against the wall.

So in a sense poverty can be a blessing.

Dream big and give it the world.

Don’t back down. Fight for what you believe in and do whatever it takes to bring your dreams to reality. Sure you may not have the opportunities that others have, but that doesn’t matter. You have nothing to lose and they have a great deal to lose so in the end, you are a far greater threat.

Use your circumstances as fuel to launch you to new heights and use poverty to your advantage.

5. As kids we didn’t complain about being poor; we talked about how rich we were going to be and made moves to get the lifestyle we aspired to by any means we could.

Don’t complain about your life.

What you need to be doing is getting clear on what you want and how you are going to get it.

If you want riches, devise a plan and follow through.

If you want a record deal, devise a plan and follow through.

If you want to become a lawyer, devise a plan and follow through.

Clarity is crucial. So many people don’t know what they want from life and hence they just wander around living aimlessly and as a result they never go on to succeed.

Get clear about your goals and desires.

6. I love what I’m doing. I love the artist I’m developing. I love the whole thing about it. Once again, I have to really look at it for the next three years and say, “Am I doing it for the right reasons?” ‘Cause all I want to do is make history at this point. They got to pay me to make history of course. But that’s my goal. I want to sit there with people really into making history. I mean everybody. I don’t mean just artists. The interns -if everybody’s not committed to making history every time I go into a meeting, and if I can’t look into their eyes and I don’t see the fire, then I gotta move on. ‘ Cause, you know, I don’t have time. I don’t have the luxury of time to just blow off three years. I do, but I don’t. But I’m not looking to have a job. That’s not hot!

It’s about making history; it’s about changing the world and pushing the envelope forward.

You have it in you.

Let the world feel your impact.

The world should be a better place as a result of your life.

7. I can’t base what I’m going to be off of what everybody else isn’t.

In life when it comes time to make a career decision, people often look at those around them and let the professions they see impact their decision.

If you grew up with a family of doctors, you’re going to be more inclined to become a doctor as well.

If all you see is drug dealers and pimps, you’re going to be swayed into becoming a drug dealer or a pimp.

This is what happens far too often, however you need to learn that there is a world outside of what you see.

Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

Stop being influenced by what you see around you. Your reality is just a limited view of the world, broaden your horizons. Don’t do what everyone else does and don’t be afraid to pave your own path in life.

Don’t be afraid to dream big.

If you want to become the first female president, but all you see around you is prostitutes and secretaries, don’t let that influence you, keep your belief  high and do whatever you got to do to become the first female president.

Sure people will look at you like you’re crazy and that’s because they have a limited horizon, they cannot see the possibilities, but you can and hence you should never let these folks rob you of your greatness.

One of the skills that all successful people share is SPEED OF IMPLEMENTATION.

What that means is once they learn, they apply…they take action immediately.

On the flip side, mediocre people will take days, months, even years before they take any form of action.

Hence this is a major problem in today’s world.

If you want to succeed, you have to act.

With that understood, below is a scroll titled ACT NOW from the great book, The Greatest Salesman In The World that should get you to open your eyes and see things for what they truly are.


“My dreams are worthless, my plans are dust, my goals are impossible. All are of no value unless they are followed by action.

I will act now.

Never has there been a map, however carefully executed to detail and scale, which carried its owner over even one inch of ground. Never has there been a parchment of law, however fair, which prevented one crime. Never has there been a scroll, even such as the one I hold, which earned so much as a penny or produced a single word of acclamation.

Action, alone, is the tinder which ignites the map, the parchment, this scroll, my dreams, my plans, my goals, into a living force. Action is the food and drink which will nourish my success.

I will action now.

My procrastination which has held me back was born of fear and now I recognize this secret mined from the depths of courageous hearts. Now I know that to conquer fear I must always act without hesitation and the flutters in my heart will vanish. Now I know that action reduces the lion of terror to an ant of equanimity.

I will act now.

Henceforth, I will remember the lesson of the firefly who gives off its light only when it is on the wing, only when it is in action. I will become a firefly and even in the day my glow will be seen in spite of the sun. Let others be as butterflies who preen their wings yet depend on the charity of a flower for life. I will be as the firefly and my light will brighten the world.

I will act now.

I will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow for I know that tomorrow never comes. Let me act now even though my actions may not bring happiness or success for it is better to act and fail than not to act and flounder. Happiness, in truth, may not be the fruit plucked by my action yet without action all
fruit will die on the vine.

I will act now. I will act now. I will act now. I will act now.

Henceforth, I will repeat these words again and again and again, each hour, each day, every day, until the words become as much a habit as my breathing and the actions which follow become as instinctive as the blinking of my eyelids. With these words I can condition my mind to perform every act necessary for my success. With these words I can condition my mind to meet every challenge which the failure avoids.

I will act now.

I will repeat these words again and again and again. When I awake I will say them and leap from my cot while the failure sleeps yet another hour.

I will act now.

When I enter the market place I will say them and immediately confront my first prospect while the failure ponders yet his possibility of rebuff.

I will act now.

When I face a closed door I will say them and knock while the failure waits outside with fear and trepidation.

I will act now.

When I face temptation I will say them and immediately act to remove myself from

I will act now.

When I am tempted to quit and begin again tomorrow I will say them and immediately act to consummate another sale.

I will act now.

Only action determines my value in the market place and to multiply my value I will multiply my actions. I will walk where the failure fears to walk. I will work when the failure seeks rest. I will talk when the failure remains silent. I will call on ten who can buy my goods while the failure makes grand plans to call on one. I will say it is done before the failure says it is too late.

I will act now.

For now is all I have. Tomorrow is the day reserved for the labor of the lazy. I am not lazy. Tomorrow is the day when the evil become good. I am not evil. Tomorrow is the day when the weak become strong. I am not weak. Tomorrow is the day when the failure will succeed. I am not a failure.

I will act now.

When the lion is hungry he eats. When the eagle has thirst he drinks. Lest they act,
both will perish. I hunger for success. I thirst for happiness and peace of mind. Lest I act I will perish in a life of failure, misery, and sleepless nights. I will command, and I will obey mine own command.

Success will not wait. If I delay she will become betrothed to another and lost to me

1. Success is not about what happens to you, it’s about what you can do with what has happened. How you react and what you do to respond to your circumstances determine it all. You can’t pick the weather, but you can choose what clothes to wear.

“Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage.”

Life is not all sunshine and rainbows.

You’re going to see some bright sunny days and some dark, gloomy days. But this doesn’t matter. You see, you can succeed regardless of what types of days you see because success is all contingent on your reaction and your outlook.

Have you ever wondered how some people rise from poverty and go on to become very wealthy? Well it’s because although these people were experiencing some very serious lows, they still kept their outlook in check. Although their environment revolved around poverty, their mind and their perspective was governed by prosperity.

It’s all about your reaction.

How you react to the things that life throws your way determines whether you rise or whether you fall.

2. You are a combination of the five people you spend the most time with.

“The first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him.”

Look at your circle. Look at your close friends. Look at your coworkers. Look at your family members.

Now look at yourself, do you see their traits in you?

If you’re honest with yourself, you should because we humans are easily influenced.

Others thoughts, viewpoints, and beliefs begin to rub off and influence us in one way or another.

Hence, you need to surround yourself with the very best.

You need to build your power circle. No squares, no weak minds, no cowards, no doubters, and no naysayers should be allowed within your power circle.

3. In order to be extraordinary, you have to do what others are afraid to do.

“Never was anything great achieved without danger.”

It takes conformity to be mediocre, but it takes balls of steel to be great.

You’re not mediocre; you’re great so it’s up to you to deal with your fears.

It’s going to be scary, but it will be worth it.

Without danger, there is no progress.

You have to take risks in life in order to increase the playing field.

4. Don’t follow the footprints of others; instead aim to leave a new set of footprints behind.

“I’m not interested in preserving the status quo; I want to overthrow it.”

This is your life, stop following and abiding by what came before you. Pave your own mark and leave your own legacy.

Change the course of mankind. Be bold and be great. Stop conforming.

5. Never become complacent on this journey, you have to keep your legs moving and your mind open.

“Whosoever desires constant success must change his conduct with the times.”

On this road to success, you have to adapt.

You have to adapt because in order to succeed, you first have to fail.

You have to fail your way to success.

You have to try your luck and when things don’t work, you have to adapt.

When the going gets tough, don’t change the target, change your aim.

6. Pave the way. Don’t be afraid to lead the herd. You got one life and one chance. Do with it what you desire, but don’t be a follower. Everyone wants to be a hero, but no one wants to deal with the failure and heartache that comes with being a leader, but you have to make it through the turmoil before you can be looked upon as a hero. So break out from the masses and have the balls to deliver when the livelihood of others is dependent on you.

“There is nothing more difficult to take in hand, more perilous to conduct, or more uncertain in its success, than to take the lead in the introduction of a new order of things.”

7. Feed your beliefs, not your fears.

“Where the willingness is great, the difficulties cannot be great.”

Name one great, legendary person who went on to experience an enormous level of success who lacked self belief? Can’t name one? Well that’s because that person does not exist.

Belief is a prerequisite for success.

You have to not only believe in yourself, but you have to believe in your work.

When you strengthen your belief, your fears automatically get pushed to the sidelines.

1. The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way.

Desire is the foundation for everything. Your desire for success must be overwhelming. Your desire must push you outside your comfort zone.

In addition, massive success is only reserved for those who dream big. You will never achieve something major if you just take the cowards way out and set low standards. You have to go for it all.

Along the way, you’re going to become frustrated, aggravated, and disappointed. But it’s what you decide to do in spite of these emotions that is going to determine if you go on to succeed or crumble.

2. When I started my last business, I didn’t receive a paycheck for 13 months. The average person can’t handle that pressure.

You first have to pay your dues.

Patience is truly a virtue. You have to plant the seed of success and then wait patiently for it to grow. Nothing major happens overnight. It’s all a process.

Believe in the process.

Believe in the seed that you have planted.

Keep devoting your attention to the seed and before long, it will grow into something massive.

3. That’s correct, I flunked out of high school twice because I couldn’t write.

Robert is currently a very wealthy man; his net worth is around $80 million.

His story is unconventional as it goes to show us that school isn’t required in order to succeed in life.

If you too are a drop out, you shouldn’t let that stop you from pursuing your wildest dreams.

Robert flunked because he couldn’t write, ironically he went on to become a very successful author who wrote one of the best financial books of all time, Rich Dad Poor Dad.

This just goes to show that your past does not mold your future. Every day you are born again, each day is a new life, be the person you desire to be today and leave the one you were in the past.

4. FOCUS – Follow One Course Until Successful

Focus on one thing.

Focus on one passion.

Just one.

Devote all your attention to it.

A lot of people aim to do too many things at once. It’s like the old saying, you try to catch two balls and you’ll end up with none.

Hence you need to narrow your focus. Instead of planting a bunch of seeds, plant one and stick with it until it grows into what you desire.

One seed is greater than a thousand seeds.

This is the case because if you grow a thousand, you cannot devote much time to any one seed, whereas if you grow only one, you can immerse yourself in that one seed and it will grow as a result.

5. It’s not what you say out of your mouth that determines your life, it’s what you whisper to yourself that has the most power!

Your actions are the result of what you think and feel.

Your thoughts paint your reality.

Your thoughts create your world.

Your thoughts have power so choose them wisely.

6. Winners are not afraid of losing. But losers are. Failure is part of the process of success. People who avoid failure also avoid success.

You have to be willing to put yourself in the midst of failure if you want to succeed. You have to make it through failure in order to reach success.

If you’re scared to fail, you’ll never reach your full potential.

Do away with your fears, confront your doubts and conquer the world.

Fall down seven times, stand up eight.

7. If you’re the kind of person who has no guts, you just give up every time life pushes you. If you’re that kind of person, you’ll live all your life playing it safe, doing the right things, saving yourself for something that never happens. Then, you die a boring old man.

A normal life is boring.

An average life is dull.

You want something more from life, right?

You don’t want to live a mediocre life, right?

If so, you have to stop acting like a mediocre person.

You have to confront your fears. You have to take risks. You have to add color to your life. Stop going along with the motions, instead change the motions, mold the motions, diktat the motions.

You are at the controls.

This is your life.

This is your reality.

Stop playing it safe. You can’t take nothing with you when death draws near, hence your objective should be to take your life to the top and enjoy the beauty of life while you are here. Hence, take risks and stop playing it safe.

Why play it safe when you know you’re going to die?

Take calculated risks and characterize your life with greatness.

After all…

No guts, no glory.

4. Leave the past in the past. Be done with it. Stop letting your yesterdays paint your today’s.

Perception is everything. Your life may not be great right now, but change your outlook. Instead of viewing your current circumstances as something that is going to last forever, view it to be something that is bound to change because the reality of the situation is it will change…when you decide to create a change.

Even when you’re hit with obstacle after obstacle, change your outlook on the issue at hand.

View it to be a test. A test you pass by overcoming the challenge. If you stop, you fail.

2. “It makes no sense to worry about things you have no control over because there’s nothing you can do about them, and why worry about things you do control? The activity of worrying keeps you immobilized.”

Worrying will not get you anything in life, besides an early tombstone.

Worry and stress go hand in hand.

Majority of the things that people worry about don’t manifest. Instead those worries just go on to create stress which in return contributes to the manifestation of health related complications.

Hence, you need to keep a free mind.

Escape your mind every now and then. Your mind tends to create problems that are imaginary. So instead of living in your mind, escape your mind.

Focus on action, instead of worrying.

Action is the cure to your worries.

The only moment you have is the NOW. Not tomorrow and not the past. It’s what you decide to do with the minute that stands before you which determines the type of success you go on to reach in your lifetime.

You can dream about the future all day long, but your future is created in the now. If you dream and never do, the future is dark and scary. If you do and strive, the future is bright.

In order to create your ideal future, you have to create the ideal today.

What you sow, you reap.

Your mind and the type of actions you take are correlated.

Input creates output.

In this case, what you put in your mind is the input and what you produce is the output.

There are some folks who make one million dollars and some folks who make well below that. Some folks in the former absolutely hate what they do, whereas some folks in the latter wake up excited and energized to do what they do.

Hence the latter go on to lead happy, fulfilled lives, whereas those who lack meaning in their work feel as if something within them died.

Of course this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t strive to make money.

What I’m saying is you should strive to put happiness above all.

I don’t care what they say, money does in fact play a role in creating happiness because it allows you to do things that you couldn’t do before. But money does begin to lose its importance when you reach a certain level so the moral of this tip is you should focus first on doing something you love and then focus on making a killing.

6. “Begin to see yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul.”

Your body’s job is to transport your soul.

You are not your body, you are your soul.

Your soul is the captain of your ship.

7. “Your children will see what you’re all about by what you live rather than what you say.”

There’s going to come a time when you tell your children, “Chase your dreams. Do what you love.”

And your children are going to look at you and see one of two things…

They’re either going to see you as someone who embodied the message or someone who is phony and weak.

A lot of people tell their kids to follow their heart and pursue their dreams, however when their children look at them, the parent is not reflective of this message. Instead, the parent was a coward and conformed when he/she could have gone on to become great. The parent chose the safe route, instead of pursuing his/her dream hence when he/she relays the message onto his/her children it will come across as fake and meaningless.

Therefore, you need to become the meaning behind the words.

In other words, you need to live for your dreams and in return create an extraordinary life so your children are inspired to do the same.

Today we’re going to learn from the dude who revolutionized the computer industry, Michael Dell. He’s one hell of an entrepreneur, he had a vision and he went for it all.

Success is rewarded to those who have balls and who move with aggression. He did exactly that and hence he was granted the key to success.

With that stated, let’s dive right in and explore his tips for success.

1. Sometimes you have to just say, F it and just go for it.

“Sometimes you just have to belly up to the bar and take a chance. We made some mistakes, but we also had the strength to work our way out.”

In order to get to where you desire to be, you have to be willing to risk your current circumstances. You first have to give in order to get.

In life, the ones who go the farthest are the ones who not only have the most heart, but also balls of steel.

A lot of people don’t take chances because the outcome is uncertain. As a result, they live a very mediocre life.

If you desire massive success, you sometimes have to just roll the dice and go for it. If things don’t go as planned, have faith in your ability to muster through.

2. Stop waiting and start acting. Execution is the key.

“Don’t spend so much time trying to choose the perfect opportunity, that you miss the right opportunity.”

While you’re sitting back, waiting, there is someone who is working. The worker wins whereas the waiter loses. This is obvious. Success does not come to you, you must go to it. The means of transportation is a vehicle called, opportunity.

Find an opportunity, exploit it.

The execution is the most important part.

Sometimes if your execution is perfect, the type of opportunity doesn’t even matter.

You can either wait your entire life or you can take what is before you and run with it.

3. Find what makes you feel alive and do that.

It’s much easier to strive and actually succeed, if you love what you do.

The road to success is a shaky, bumpy road. It’s tough to get through all the crap you will be presented with unless you absolutely adore what you do.

4. Appreciate the setbacks, failures, and roadblocks.

“Recognize that there will be failures, and acknowledge that there will be obstacles. But you will learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others, for there is very little learning in success.”

If you’re not learning, you’re not going to go anywhere.

You have to constantly be learning. The person who learns is good, but the person who learns AND applies will go on to become great.

Failure is a great teacher. You can learn more from failure than you can from success so view failure to be a teacher, instead of a dead end road.

5. Feel. Strive. Persist. Achieve.

Let your higher self take over.

If you can remain who you are in a world that is constantly trying to change you, you are a success.

Now just translate that success into reality. The way you do that is by following your own inner voice. Set your standards high and never stop until you are standing in the winner’s circle.

6. You can only succeed when you no longer fear failure.

“Don’t be afraid to fail. Get out there and experiment and learn and fail and get a rate based on the experiences you have. Go for it and when you go for it you’ll learn what you’re capable of, what the potential is, where the opportunities are, but you can’t be afraid to fail because that’s when you learn.”

Failure is a key component of success, the faster you can overcome your fear of failure, the faster you will succeed.

7. Put happiness above all.
