Cold Showers Will Make You A Bad Motherfucker

You can have anything in life if you are willing to go through the discomfort required to get it.

You want to date the hot brunette who works at your favorite restaurant? You can probably get her if you have the balls to put yourself in the midst of possible rejection.

You want to quit your job and start your own business? You can probably do so if you are willing to undergo the discomfort that will rise in the early months.

You want to become a stand up comedian? You can probably do so if you are willing to undergo the discomfort that will occur when you get booed off stage.

Simply put, you can do almost anything if you have the balls to take action in spite of discomfort.

This brings me to my main point.

The faster you find comfort in discomfort, the faster you will achieve success.

So how the fuck do you find comfort in discomfort?

Easy.

Here’s how I do it…

Every morning, I wake up and I take a cold shower.

There are many benefits of taking a cold shower.

It helps with weight loss, aids in recovery, improves mood, and increases testosterone, but that’s not why I do it.

I do it because I’m conditioning my mind to find comfort in discomfort.

I’m conditioning my mind to act in spite of fear and discomfort.

When the cold water hits my flesh, I grasp like a little bitch.

When the cold water hits my flesh, my breathing increases.

When the cold water hits my flesh, my heartbeat grows rapid.

In other words, this is exactly the emotions you feel when you are undergoing an uncomfortable situation.

For instance, suppose you’re at Starbucks and you see a hot girl that you want to approach, what usually happens in situations such as this?

Well if you’re like most dudes, you’ll probably tense up, your heartbeat will increase, and you’ll be breathing heavily because you’re nervous and scared.

Same shit as the cold shower.

The cold shower makes you tense and uncomfortable…and that, my friends, is why the cold shower is so fucking magical.

The reason why it’s so dope is because if you continue to stand in the face of the cold water, you are training your mind to embrace the discomfort. You are training your mind to deal with the emotions that occur. You are training your mind to find comfort in discomfort.

Every time I finish my cold shower, I feel fucking awesome.

I feel on top of the fucking world because I have found comfort in discomfort.

This feeling stays with me for the rest of the day and whenever an uncomfortable situation occurs that I need to overcome, I am better able to tackle it because I have conditioned my mind to act in spite of the fear and anxiety I feel.

I did it in the morning during my cold shower so I can do it now.

Better yet, I know that once I make it through the uncomfortable situation, I’ll feel fucking awesome just like I did when I finished my cold  shower.

So with this in mind, I take action in spite of the discomfort that I feel.

By doing so, I am granted greater success.

When others pussy out and retreat, I take the plunge because I am better able to deal with all the anxiety and stress one feels before undergoing an uncomfortable situation.

I owe all of this to the cold shower in the morning.

So starting tomorrow morning, I challenge you to take a cold shower.

I know on the internet some people say you can start with hot water and end with it cold, but that’s for pussies.

If you’re going to do something, do it, go all out.

Maximum cold water.

Your cold shower should be 2-5 minutes long.

After you are done, watch how amazing you feel.

I won’t even talk about how this simple task will turn you into a bad ass, instead i’ll let you experience it yourself.
