Are you living or are you just waiting to die?

Are you living every single day or are you just living on the weekend?

It’s funny, our only job is to live life, however most of us can’t even do that right.

We have become conditioned to only live for the weekend. We have been conditioned to take on jobs that we despise. We have been conditioned to think that work is supposed to be work and it’s not supposed to be fun and intriguing. Hence, as a result of this thinking, you get what you see all around you…

Miserable people who dread going to work when Monday morning arrives.

This type of mentality will never take you to the places that you desire to reach.

I mean, name one person who hated what they did, but still found a way to achieve massive success? JUST ONE PERSON, that’s all I ask.

Can’t do it?

That’s what I thought.

The people who hate their jobs will never succeed because in order to succeed you have to actually be present in the moment, you actually have to live.

People who hate their jobs will always look forward to something more intriguing, they will always live for the weekend and as a result they will never see the type of success that they desire.

Do you know why success is so rare to come by? Do you know why the masses rarely succeed? It’s not because they’re not talented, it’s not because they don’t work hard, it’s not because they don’t have the right attributes, it’s none of that.

It’s because their work does not make them come alive.

If your work does not move you, it will never move you forward.

Think about that.

I mean, how the hell are you going to become great by working at a job that you despise?

Wait, hold up, screw becoming great for a minute, let’s focus on something even more basic…

HOW THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO BE ABLE TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING KNOWING THAT THE REST OF YOUR DAY IS GOING TO BE CONSUMED WITH MEDIOCRE TASKS THAT YOU COULDN’T GIVE TWO SHITS ABOUT?

How will that make you feel?

Horrible? Crappy? Unmotivated?

Well that’s how majority of the people who make up this world feel when they wake up in the morning to go to work.

As a result, the only thing left for these peeps is to live for the weekend.

Two days of peace. Two days to dissociate themselves from their miserable lives.

I hate to break it to you, but two days is not enough.

Two days out of seven is hardly a life worth living.

If you want to become extraordinary, you have to characterize your entire life with excellence.

You need to stop living for the weekend. Stop looking to the future during the now. Be present in the moment.

Life is a gift; it is a gift that you should enjoy every single day, not just on the weekends.

Life is supposed to be fun and upbeat, not dreadful and dull.

Time is ticking, you either make a change now or you suffer the consequences when death arrives to greet you.

Death is the destination that we all share and one that we are all moving towards, some faster than others.

Nonetheless, on your death day, you’re going to look back at your life and you’re going to think one of two things.

Either you’re going to view your life to be a waste or a gift well spent.

The way you live today determines how you view your life tomorrow.

After all, a life that is lived to the limit every single day with enthusiasm and boldness is a life that is destined for greatness.

On the other hand, a life that is lived aimlessly for five days and enthusiastically for two days is a life that is bound to be characterized with mediocrity.

With that stated, you know how it’s going to end.

You got two paths in front of you, one leads to greatness and one leads to mediocrity, which one are you going to take?
